As part of the membership application process you will be asked to sign a declaration of Consent.
“I agree to details provided by me being held by the Club on computer and being used for club administration and to keep me informed of club activities. The Club may share information with British Canoeing if required to do so by British Canoeing. The Club will not share my details with other third parties without my prior permission. I confirm that I consent to images of me participating in club activities being used for club publicity, including on the Club’s website”.
If consent cannot be given or has to be withdrawn, please contact Sue Cole, the Club Welfare Officer, via the Contact Us page or see them in person at the Club at the earliest opportunity.
Temporary Membership – See Taster Sessions
You are welcome to come along and have a try. You will be required to print off a version of the membership form (voucher), fill it out and bring it with you for that session. There will be no charge for this. You can take advantage of this offer only once; after your first, hopefully enjoyable, session you will be required to take out full membership to be able to paddle with us again. If you are not of minimum BCU 1 Star standard, please let us know you are coming so we can ensure a coach is available to support you during your visit.
