We are running a one-day beginners “Discover” kayaking course on Sunday 6th August from Hengistbury Head Outdoor Education Centre. This course will teach you basic paddle and rescue techniques and follows the syllabus of British Canoeing. Once you have completed this training you will be able to join the Southbourne Canoe Club weekly Summer paddles with other members.

To book your place, you will firstly need to sign up as a club member via the membership page on our club website. You will then find that the “Discover” course appears under our Events section for you to book a place.
