There will be a camping weekend on the Dart Estuary on 7th-8th-9th June with overnight stay Fri 7th an Sat 8th and paddles on Sat 8th and Sun 9th.
On the Saturday weather permitting we will paddle from Stoke Gabriel to Totnes and back and Sunday paddle to Dartmouth possibly 1 way with shuttle or return depending on conditions. For those who don’t want to paddle both days there are excellent opportunities for walking visiting picturesque local towns or National trust properties. I know many of you will be working on Monday so will aim to get you on your way home by mid afternoon Sunday.
The campsite is the same as last year, Higher Well Farm Holiday park, Stoke Gabriel, TQ9 6RN. Tel 01803 782289 http://www.higherwellfarmholidaypark.co.uk
The prices are very reasonable and there is good availability for camping or vans without electric hookup but is limited for electric hookup.
For anyone who would like a pub meal on the Friday evening 7:30pm-ish I will book the Castle pub in Stoke Gabriel, it has a good menu and is noted for excellent fish dishes. Please let me know if you are coming for the meal as I will need to book.
Should anyone require club boats or equipment please let me know and I will do my best to help. Camp site bookings will need to be made by yourselves.
I can be contacted firstname.lastname@example.org
