Over the last year there have been several requests for non paddling trips during the winter so here is the first, if it’s supported there will be more to follow.
Coastal walk exploring historic Tyneham village and walking to Worbarrow tout option to climb the tout with nice views across Brandy bay to Kimmeridge.
We can meet at my place for 9:45 or Tyneham village car park at 10:45 (near Lulworth). There is an option of a pub lunch after but if you want to come for the lunch please let me know BEFORE THURS 7th as i will need to make a booking in advance. Expected trip duration is 1 1/2hrs without lunch or 3hrs with lunch.
This trip is weather dependent but will go ahead short of heavy rain or storm. Please reply on the forum or email me direct email@example.com
Unfortunately the MOD have revised their opening times for Tyneham village this year and it is now closed on that weekend. As it would be preferable not to have tank shells whizzing past our ears (it is on the firing range) i have changed the venue to Worth Matravers where we can walk to the old quarrying village of Winspit go around St Aldhems Head hopefully visiting the coast guard hut which is interesting as they are the volunteers who look after all sea craft including us and back along the ridge to Worth Matravers, the walk is about 4 miles, lunch for those wishing to partake will be in the old and atmospheric Square and Compass pub in Worth Matravers, be warned the menu is basic but the quality is good. I will reschedule the Tyneham trip to early in the new year.
All other details and timings remain the same.

Cheers Rich B
The weather looks dry for tomorrow so the trip is going ahead as planned. It is likely to be cool and windy so please dress appropriately.
Anyone wishing to share transport please be at my place around 9:45 or meet in the Worth Matravers village car park by 10:45.
The club is a lot of fun.
