There will be a club flat water paddle on Sunday 20th May, this trip is suitable for all boat types and all experience levels.
It will be on the Basingstoke canal meeting at 9:45am on water 10:15 off water approx 12:45 and off course it wouldn’t be one of my trips if there wasn’t a pub lunch option.
For those wishing to partake I will book a table for 13:15 at The Barley Mow RG27 8DE, it has an excellent reputation for food and is very popular so i will need to make a booking so please let me know by Thurs 17th May.
The meeting place is the Barley Mow slipway car park, Sprats Lane, Hook RG27 8ZY, opposite the pub.
To get there i would recommend google maps as it is in the middle of nowhere.
The directions are M3 off at junction 5, A287 onto B3016, 1st right Baywell Lane to the end, right onto Station Road, right again onto The Hurst then 1st right opposite the pub Sprats Hatch Lane.
Put me down for this one please.
The club is a lot of fun.
