We are pleased to announce that we will be running a beginnners kayaking course (British Canoeing ‘Discover’) on Sunday 14th August 2022.

This course is designed for any ‘beginner or novice’ paddler 12 or more years old (from age 8 will be accepted) and is the minimum standard for any person who wishes to paddle with the club.
This course is designed to introduce paddlers to the basic concepts of boat control and safety to enable paddlers to be safe and confident on flat sheltered water.  There is no official assessment session as this will be during the course. We will provide you with a boat, paddle and buoyancy aid.
