Facilities
Soutbourne Canoe Club is currently based at Hengistbury Head Outdoor Education Centre, Bournemouth (moved February 2010) and has full access to:

• Male and Female Changing Rooms
• Showers
• Secure storage room
• Canoe and Kayak equipment storage area
• Lecture Rooms
• BBQ & Garden area
• Direct access to the water

Equipment
Southbourne Canoe Club (SCC) has a range of equipment to support members who do not yet possess their own.  This is loaned for a small charge.  The equipment currently owned by SCC & Outdoor Centre and available for hire comprises of:

• Kayaks (sea, inland)
• Open Canoes
• Buoyancy aids
• Spray decks
• Paddles (left & right handed)
• Helmets
• Rescue Equipment

Paddlers must provide their own clothing suitable for paddling in as this are not provided by the club. Items that you should bring yourself (weather dependent) include:

• Wet suit
• Splash top (Cagoules)
• Change of clothing
• Towels
