• Chairman
  Chas Couchman- The chairman is responsible for the overall runing of the club. Chas is an obsessive whitewater paddler with a lot of experience on rivers in this country and abroad. He has also been known to dabble in Surf kayaking and Sea Paddling.
   
  
   
• Secretary
  Sue Johnson - The secretary attends committee meetings, takes minutes and helps organise events. Sue has been kayaking since 2000 and is a trainee level 2 inland coach. Her main interests are sea, flat water and medium grade white water.
   

• Treasurer
  Rich Hampson - The treasurer operates the club account, chases people for money and reports on the club finances at the AGM. Richard has been paddling for 10 years and owns more boats than he has garden space to dump them. He likes lots of white water, quite a lot of surf and a little sea kayaking. From time to time he attempts to do some coaching.
   

• Training Officer(s)
  Chas Couchman- The training officer(s) is responsible for the coordination of the club training programme. Chas is an obsessive whitewater paddler with a lot of experience on rivers in this country and abroad. He has also been known to dabble in Surf kayaking and Sea Paddling.
   

  Richard Ballentine - An instructor supporting the training officer. Rich is an enthusastic paddler on both flat and white water. He is keen to develop the clubs more family orientated side as well as continue with our continuous trips.
  

 

• Communication Secretary

• Events and Social Secretary
  Jo Laney - The role of the Social secretary is to organise social events for the club.

 

• Non-Committee Members and Coaches
  We have a number of people within SCC, many of whom are former committee members, that devote their time and experience to making the SCC a better club.
